Jaecoo J7 update: special version with 2-liter engine

The updated Jaecoo J7 offers a new special version with a unique design, including off-road attributes and a 254-horsepower turbo engine.

Chinese automaker Chery continues to surprise the automotive world with new solutions and models, this time introducing an updated version of its popular crossover Jaecoo J7. The model, which has already gained recognition in Russia, now offers an even more powerful and stylish modification with a 2-liter turbo engine developing an impressive 254 horsepower.

Jaecoo J7 in the new version does not just get a performance boost. The car also acquires unique exterior elements that emphasize its sporty and aggressive character. Redesigned bumpers, air ducts on the hood, extended wheel arches and an expeditionary roof rack - all this makes the crossover visually more impressive and ready for any challenge on the road.

External changes also concern the radiator grille, which has become more expressive, as well as the emergence of new design solutions in the field of wheel rims, the size of which varies from 17 to 19 inches. These features make the Jaecoo J7 stand out from its competitors and emphasize its special status in the brand's line-up.

The main innovation of the updated Jaecoo J7 is a 2-liter turbo engine that develops 254 hp. and 390 Nm of torque. In combination with a seven-speed robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive, the new version of the crossover demonstrates excellent dynamic performance. Average fuel consumption is 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers, which is a decent indicator for a car of this class.

In Russia, the Jaecoo J7 is presented in several trim levels, and, probably, with the release of a new modification with a 2-liter engine, the line will be supplemented with another premium version. The cost of existing versions starts from
2,699,900 rubles.
