Updated Exeed VX 2025 presented in China

The updated Exeed VX 2025 received a hybrid power plant with a power of 620 hp. Externally, the crossover retains the familiar design, but with an updated rear and more formal lines.

Chery continues to actively develop its premium Exeed brand, and recently an updated version of the large crossover Exeed VX 2025 was registered on the Chinese market. The main innovation is a hybrid power plant, which seriously changes the technical characteristics of the model, while visually the car remains true to its gasoline counterparts.

Like the previous petrol version, the hybrid Exeed VX retains the familiar look that customers have already come to love. The front part of the car is practically no different from that presented in the Russian version of the model. However, the stern has been noticeably redesigned: the designers have equipped it with more massive vertical lights, united by a horizontal light strip, forming a characteristic U-shaped structure. These changes give the car more strict and angular outlines.

In addition, the design of the tailgate has been modified: the recess for the license plate is now located on the bumper.

The heart of the new hybrid is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 156 hp, which works in tandem with three electric motors. The total power of the power plant is 620 hp, which allows the crossover to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 4.26 seconds.

The efficiency indicators were no less impressive: despite the impressive dimensions (length - 5010 mm, width - 1940 mm, height - 1800 mm), the car consumes only about 6.88 liters of fuel per 100 km. This is possible thanks to a hybrid system that allows you to travel up to 143 kilometers exclusively on electric power.

The 2025 Exeed VX is ready to offer its passengers not only high performance, but also comfort. Depending on the configuration, the cabin can accommodate six or seven people. At the same time, the curb weight of the car is 2280 kg, and its total weight is 2805 kg, which emphasizes its impressiveness and reliability on the road.

Although full information about the configurations and cost of the new hybrid Exeed VX has not yet been disclosed, there is reason to believe that the model may enter the market before the end of this year. Considering the active development of the segment of hybrid and electric cars in Russia, there is a high probability that the presented version of this crossover will appear on the domestic market.
