Updated Omoda C5

The Omoda C5 crossover, one of the popular representatives of Chinese cars on the Russian market, is preparing to be released in an updated version in November 2024. Notable changes include a redesigned front end.

The update primarily affected the front part of the Omoda C5: the crossover received a new grille and an aggressive bumper, giving it a modern and daring look. The changes also affected the daytime running lights, which have now become thinner and shaped like the letter L, adding visual lightness and dynamics to the car. It is noteworthy that the luminous strip under the hood has disappeared, and the brand logo is now located directly on the grille, which creates a clean and minimalistic look.

The updated Omoda C5 did not receive any significant changes in the technical part. As before, the front-wheel drive version uses a 1.5-liter engine with 147 hp, paired with a CVT. For fans of all-wheel drive, a version with a 150-horsepower engine of the same volume and a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches is offered.

It is worth noting that in October 2024, prices for Omoda C5 increased slightly - the cost of the basic version increased by 50 thousand rubles and now starts from 2.28 million rubles. On the Russian market, Omoda C5 is available in five trim levels: Fun, Lifestyle, Ultimate, Active and Supreme.

While fans of the Omoda C5 are waiting for restyling, the brand also announced in China the release of the Omoda C7, a new mid-size cross-coupe with dimensions of 4621 x 1872 x 1673 mm and a wheelbase of 2700 mm. It will become a more spacious alternative in the model line.

The updated Omoda C5 promises to become even more stylish and attractive for Russian car enthusiasts. The planned release of the restyled version in November will most likely provide the model with a new round of popularity in the compact crossover segment.
