The WEY 80 minivan will appear in Russia

The Russian automobile market is preparing to meet a new player – the WEY 80 minivan, which will go on sale in the near future. WEY, a premium brand of the Chinese company Great Wall Motors, is known for its quality and innovation.

Moreover, this version of the cabin has six seats instead of seven.

WEY 80 is a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) equipped with an all-wheel drive system. The standard equipment includes a petrol 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 156 hp. s., two electric motors, a 2-speed transmission (DHT) and a traction battery with a capacity of 37.96 kWh. The total system power reaches 487 hp. s., and the maximum speed is 170 km/h. In electric mode, the minivan can travel up to 140 km on the WLTC cycle. The extended version is equipped with a more powerful 1.5-liter engine with 170 hp. s., 4-speed DHT gearbox, two electric motors and a battery with a capacity of 44.28 kWh. The total power of the six-seat version is 458 hp. s., the maximum speed reaches 200 km/h, and the electric range is 170 km according to the WLTC cycle.
