Avatr 11 and Avatr 12 will be available in Russia in 2024

In 2024 Russian car enthusiasts will get acquainted with a new Chinese brand Avatr, created by Changan. 2 models of this brand - crossover Avatr 11 and sedan Avatr 12

Deliveries will be carried out through the official representative office of Changan, as reported by Autonews.ru. At the same time, starting from October 1, parallel import of car brands, officially supplying their models to Russia, will be prohibited.

Avatr, first introduced in 2021, specializes in the production of electric cars. The technological part of these cars is supported by Huawei, and batteries for them are provided by CATL. One of the new models, the Avatr 12 sedan, visually resembles a hatchback. Its presentation took place in early September. The car is equipped with a powerful 580-horsepower twin-motor unit and can travel 600 km on a single charge, accelerating to 100 km/h in 4 seconds. It is worth mentioning that the Avatr 11 crossover is already available in Russia under parallel import.
