Chery's vehicle sales exceeded 170,000 units in August and continued to grow for the second consecutive month, surpassing the 150,000 vehicle mark.

Chery's product quality has been continuously improved and won awards in various JD Power surveys.

Chery's overseas expansion is progressing well and the company's performance in international markets continues to improve.

In more detail, Chery Holding Group achieved three key successes in August:

August vehicle sales totaled 171,262 units, up 20, 8% year-on-year, a new sales record for the month. Sales have exceeded 150,000 vehicles for two consecutive months.

From the beginning of the year to August, cumulative sales reached 1,063,157 vehicles, up 42% year-on-year, and the company surpassed the one million sales mark for the year two months earlier than the previous year.

Chery ranked highest in the JD Power 2023 Chinese Quality Survey (IQS) among domestic brands for the first time, highlighting the improvement in auto quality.

The Tiggo 8, Tiggo 7 and Arrizo 8 models performed well, exceeding 10,000 units sold of each model in August. These autos ranked first in quality in their market segments.

Chery Group continues to improve, providing users with safer and more reliable transportation.

In addition, in the 2023 China Initial Quality StudySM (IQS) ranking by JD Power, Chery ranked No. 1 in quality among Chinese brands.

In the APEAL (Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study) from JD Power, the Tiggo 7 Pro Max and Tiggo 8 models were the leaders in the medium and medium-to-large market segments, respectively. These successes attest to the high quality of Chery's products.

In overseas markets, Chery Group also achieved good results in 2023. The company continues to expand its overseas presence by investing in building factories and developing new energy sources.

In February, Chery began construction of a plant in Argentina with an investment of $400 million and plans to produce up to 100,000 cars annually by 2030.

The company also announced plans to open plants in Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand to produce cars powered by different energy sources.
