The price of GAC GS8 crossover in Russia has increased sharply

Chinese automobile company GAC, starting from November 1, decided to significantly increase the price of its flagship crossover GS8 in the Russian market.

According to the data published in "Avtonovosti dnego" based on the analysis of the official price lists of the company, the price of the car is increased by about 300 thousand rubles.

Such a price increase for the GS8 model is the first since the second-generation crossover was presented on the Russian market in July 2023. Now the basic version of this model, GL, is estimated at 3, 8 million rubles, while the top configuration GX Premium will cost the buyer 4, 4 million rubles.

Regardless of the chosen configuration, the GAC GS8 is equipped with the same engine - a gasoline turbo motor with a volume of 2.0 liters and 248 horsepower. In addition, the car is equipped with an 8-speed hydromechanical gearbox from the Japanese company Aisin and an all-wheel drive system. It should be noted that at the launch of the second generation GS8 its price was 90 thousand rubles lower than the starting price of the all-wheel drive version of its predecessor.
