Changan CS75 Plus fourth generation: launch of production and possible deliveries to Russia

Production of the updated Changan CS75 Plus has started. What has changed in the new generation and when will the model appear in Russia?

The new version of Changan CS75 Plus has undergone significant changes, which relate to both appearance and technical characteristics. The car's design now features more aggressive lines, especially noticeable in the front part, where there is a frameless radiator grille with a complex pattern and vertical LED optics. The new product also received retractable door handles.

As for dimensions, the new generation Changan CS75 Plus has become larger than its predecessor. The length of the car has increased to 4770 mm, the width is now 1910 mm, and the wheelbase has increased to 2800 mm.

Under the hood of the new Changan CS75 Plus there is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine capable of developing power up to 192 horsepower. This engine is paired with an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission. According to the manufacturer, acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 7.9 seconds, and top speed is limited to 190 km/h.

In the future, Changan plans to expand the engine range for this model, including the possible addition of a 2.0-liter engine and a hybrid powertrain.

The new generation CS75 Plus interior reflects the latest trends in the automotive industry. Attention is drawn to the large digital console, which combines three displays with a total diagonal of 37 inches.

The steering wheel has a two-spoke design, which emphasizes the sporty nature of the model, and the presence of a steering column switch, replacing the traditional transmission selector, adds comfort and ease of operation. Other interior features include premium leather upholstery and advanced driver assistance systems such as Level 2 Autopilot and Auto Parking Assistant.

The new generation Changan CS75 Plus is expected on the Russian market no earlier than 2025. At the same time, before the end of 2024, sales of a restyled version of the previous model will begin in Russia, which also features an updated design and improved characteristics.
