Changan will release a budget sedan L amore in a fashionable design

Changan will soon launch the L amore sedan on the market. The new car has already been registered in the database of the Ministry of Industry of the People's Republic of China

In terms of appearance, the model will receive a recognizable "family" design of the Uni series from Changan. To be more precise, the sedan will continue the "sci-fi" exterior direction set by the Uni-V liftback. Sales of which, it is worth recalling, can begin in Russia.

Changan Lamore and Uni-V: Similarities and Differences
The dimensions of the Lamore turned out to be larger than that of the "charged" relative. The dimensions of the sedan are 4770 x 1840 x 1440 (1450) mm with a wheelbase of 2765 mm. For comparison: the liftback is 90 mm shorter, and its wheelbase is 15 mm smaller.

But if the dimensions of the cars have obvious differences, then their appearance, on the contrary, turned out to be very similar. In front, the new sedan received a similar "frameless" radiator grille, as well as an aggressive front bumper and narrow diode headlights. However, the parking lights stretched almost the entire length of the front wing. On the side, hidden door handles recessed into the body also give additional similarity to the models.

But behind the cars are different. And it's not just about the different form factors of the models. Unlike the Uni-V, the new sedan received a more classic split rear optics. At the same time, his lanterns have acquired a transparent design with light tinting. It is worth noting that, despite such a dual exhaust system, the aft part of the Lamore looks much less sporty.

How will the sedan be equipped and how much will it cost
The power part of the car does not shine with "sports" either. Under the hood of the sedan there will be an alternative 1.5-liter unit JL473ZQA with 170 hp and 260 Nm. For comparison: the more compact Uni-V is also equipped with a 1.5-liter engine, but at 187 hp and 300 Nm.

As a transmission, the new Lamore is still credited with a 7-speed gearbox with a double "wet" clutch. But there was no official information about this yet.

In Chinese media, the estimated cost of the novelty is also called. It should range from 90 to 110 thousand yuan (approximately 785-960 thousand rubles).
