Affordable and practical. Haval announced the sale of a new crossover in Russia

The Great Wall Motor Concern will replenish the model range in Russia with another crossover – Haval M6. He will reach buyers this summer.

The press release says that the Haval M6 is positioned as a family car for every day. In addition to modern design, reliable construction and spacious interior, the model will offer a reasonable combination of price and quality.

Haval M6: features and equipment

Haval M6 is a fairly large crossover. Its dimensions are 4664 x 1830 x 1729 mm, the wheelbase reaches 2680 mm. That is, it is similar in size to the Haval F7. The trunk volume is an impressive 808 liters (1550 with the second row folded).

The car will be presented with a single 1.5 l gasoline turbo engine (143 hp and 202 Nm). The engine complies with the Euro-5 environmental class. There are two gearboxes to choose from: a 6-speed "mechanics" and a "robot" with 7 gears.

The list of equipment includes: climate control, keyless engine start, rear view camera, steering wheel height and departure adjustment, cruise control, as well as a multimedia system with a 10.25-inch screen and four speakers.

There is a braking assistance system (BAS), electronic stability control systems (ESP) and emergency braking assistance, as well as assistance assistants for climbing and descending. In addition, good ergonomics and a large space for second-row passengers are promised.

The company said that the crossover has undergone winter adaptation and is ready for Russian operating conditions. The main body elements and wheel arches are covered with special anti-corrosion paint, and the front seats are equipped with a heating function. Apparently, there will be no other "warm" options in the car.

You can choose from three body colors: white, gray and black. The wheels are 17-inch. There is no data on ground clearance for the Russian version yet. However, for similar machines that are presented in Kazakhstan, it is very small — 145 mm. The drive is exclusively front-wheel drive.
