The Geely V900 minivan has been presented - spacious, technologically advanced, with a hybrid power plant, aimed at the comfort of families and business. The model stands out with its modern design, digital options and is positioned as a competitor to the world's leading MPVs.
Geely once again confirmed its status as one of the technological leaders of the Chinese automobile industry by presenting its new premium minivan V900 at the Guangzhou Auto Show - the first in the Galaxy V line, combining innovative hybrid technologies and a spacious interior aimed at the comfort of families and business trips. The V900 is based on the British LEVC L380 platform, completely reimagined for the local market: length increased to 5360 mm, width almost 2 meters, with a wheelbase of 3200 mm, providing exceptionally spacious interior space.
The model received a hybrid power plant: a 1.5-liter turbo engine with 163 hp. here it serves as a generator for a lithium-ion battery, which can be chosen from two options - 50 kWh (charge for an electric vehicle - up to 202 km) and 43.3 kWh (up to 172 km). In standard mixed mode, fuel consumption is about 7–7.2 liters per 100 km, which is quite economical for a large minivan designed to carry 6 or 8 passengers in different configurations.
In the interior of the V900, the designers focused on ergonomics: a trunk depth of 919 mm, third-row folding seats, a full-length panoramic sunroof, and a multimedia system with a separate tablet are available. Equipment includes 20-inch alloy wheels, active aerodynamic elements, and roof-mounted lidar for future autopilot systems. The exterior styling is highlighted by a two-tone paint scheme, Pegasus signature emblem and LED tail light strip.
Geely is positioning the V900 as a response to strong demand in the segment of large MPVs that combine practicality, environmental friendliness and modern digital solutions. The appearance of the model indicates the confident movement of the Chinese automobile industry into the premium niche and its readiness to compete with leading Asian and European brands.
