The electric car brand Geometry has officially merged with the parent company Geely. Now the full name sounds like Geely Geometry.
Strictly speaking, the brand was almost always associated with Geely, even their logos differed from each other very slightly. Moreover, most Geometry models were based on Geely gasoline cars in one way or another.
Nevertheless, the parent Geely tried to distance Geometry from the main line. It was not possible to do this to the full extent, and after the merger, the brand actually became another family in the Geely model range. Where all four cars joined – G6 sedans, hatchbacks C, E and M6, while Geometry cars were actively offered for export. So, it is known about the supply of several large batches of electric cars to Israel. Geometry C hatchbacks were also sold in the Republic of Belarus. There, sales started in mid-2021 according to a very strange scheme, since the car could only be purchased by an individual and exclusively for cash.
As for Geometry in Russia, back in September 2021, at a certain dealer conference, the possibility of the brand entering the Russian market was discussed. Then it was announced that electric cars would appear on the Russian market in October 2022, but the Geely representative office denied this information.
Now there is no information about the entry of Geometry into the Russian market. But the brand will appear in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
