The Wey 05 hybrid from the GWM concern appeared in Russia

The Wey 05 crossover is a plug-in hybrid vehicle, but unlike many other Chinese models, its power system is not sequential, allowing the internal combustion engine to drive the wheels on its own.

The car's dimensions are 4870 mm in length, 1960 mm in width, 1690 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2910 mm. Inside the crossover there are two rows of seats, while the trunk volume varies from 371 liters under the curtain to 1229 liters with the rear sofa folded. The suspension is equipped with springs: front - McPherson struts, rear - multi-link.

Wey 05 is an all-wheel drive rechargeable hybrid. Under the hood is a two-liter gasoline turbo engine with direct injection producing 150 hp. (versus 204 hp in the Chinese version). It comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission with two wet clutches, including a 163 hp synchronous electric motor that rotates the front wheels. On the rear axle there is a separate synchronous electric motor with a power of 183 hp. Peak power of the power plant is 421 hp. and 847 Nm. The cabin houses a lithium-ion traction battery with a capacity of 39.7 kWh, providing a range of 185 km in electric mode, as well as a 55-liter gas tank. Acceleration time to 100 km/h is 5 seconds, maximum speed is 220 km/h.

The interior of the Wey 05 is distinguished by its simplicity and functionality. In front of the driver there are instruments, a media system and a climate control display, not overloaded with unnecessary decorations. A projection screen with augmented reality function is available. The center console is two-story, with a spacious shelf below that houses a 12-volt power outlet and USB ports.

The interior features comfortable seats with lumbar support and a retractable knee section, as well as Alcantara upholstery, providing comfort and good support for the body in turns. The package includes heating of all seats, steering wheel and windshield, electric drive and ventilation of the front seats, an audio system with twelve speakers, a set of electronic assistants and other options. The buyer can choose one of five exterior colors and one of three interior colors. The price of the crossover is 6,499,000 rubles.
