The updated Haval F7x 2026 model year received a more powerful engine, improved design and new equipment, increasing in price by 200 thousand rubles in each configuration.
The updated Haval F7x enters the Russian market
The updated Haval F7x 2026 model year is being prepared for launch in Russia, which has become more powerful, received some minor design improvements and has risen in price by 200 thousand rubles in both trim levels. The cross-coupe is now priced at 3,799,000 rubles for the basic “Premium” and 3,999,000 rubles for the top-end “Techno +” version, with sales starting in the second quarter of this year.
Thus, Haval is positioning the F7x as a more technologically advanced and dynamic product, while maintaining a limited but well-equipped line of versions.
More powerful motor and dynamics
The main change is a modernized 2.0-liter turbo engine, the power of which has been increased from 192 to 231 horsepower. Torque increased from 320 to 380 Nm, which had a positive effect on the response and elasticity of the car.
Acceleration to 100 km/h has been reduced from 9.4 to 7.8 seconds, which already makes the F7x one of the most dynamic cross-coupes in its segment. At the same time, the engine’s environmental class has been raised to Euro 6, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle has been maintained at 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers, despite the increase in power and torque. The engine is still paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox and all-wheel drive.
Appearance: emphasis on sportiness
There are not too many changes in appearance, but they emphasize the sportier character of the updated F7x. The cross-coupe received red brake calipers, which visually add dynamics and make the image of the car more aggressive. A number of decorative elements are darkened: the radiator grille, 19‑inch wheels and nameplates are finished in gloss black.
In addition, the F7x has dual exhaust pipes with chrome tips, which completes the updated sporty image. Such touches do not change the architecture of the body, but noticeably refresh the appearance and bring the model closer to the taste of the youth audience.
Interior and electronics updates
In the cabin, changes are aimed at making everyday use easier and enhancing the digital component. The electronic parking brake button was moved to the console between the seats, and the wireless charging pad received active cooling and increased power to 50 W.
The multimedia complex has acquired the “Smart Widget” application, which allows you to customize information blocks, “hot” buttons and the interface structure to suit the driver’s personal preferences. It is now possible to split the screen into separate areas, as well as use a “floating widget” that constantly displays key information, such as the current speed. All this makes the F7x more modern and convenient for those who are accustomed to flexible interfaces of smartphones and tablets.
Prices, configurations and market context
The updated Haval F7x will be available in two trim levels - “Premium” and “Techno +”, with prices of 3,799,000 and 3,999,000 rubles, respectively. The increase in price by 200 thousand rubles in each version is explained not only by an increase in power and dynamics, but also by an expansion of equipment and complication of electronics.
The launch of the model in the second quarter of the year complements Haval’s overall strategy to update the line in the Russian market: the Haval Dargo crossover, which also received an upgraded engine and a redesigned interior, had previously risen in price and been updated. Chinese brands continue to strengthen their positions in Russia, relying on a combination of power, design and advanced digital functions in the mass segment.
