Haval H9 2024 in a new guise: a powerful SUV with a diesel engine will soon be presented in Russia

It is expected that sales of the new generation Haval H9 will begin in Russia in 2024. The car received an updated body design, including a massive vertical grille and round LED headlights.

The second generation Haval H9 brings changes in size: length is 5070 mm, width - 1960 mm, height - 1976 mm. The wheelbase has also increased from 2800 to 2850 mm. The ground clearance is now 224 mm, the approach angle has increased to 31 degrees and the departure angle to 25 degrees. Available in wheel diameters from 17 to 19 inches. The car interior is designed for 5 or 7 passengers.

According to preliminary information, the new Haval H9 2024 will be available in two technical versions (diesel and petrol):

• 2.4-liter diesel turbo engine (184 hp and 385 Nm), combined with an 8-speed automatic transmission transmission;
• 2.0 liter petrol turbo unit (224 hp) with 9-speed automatic transmission transmission.

Genuine leather in the Haval H9 interior is not standard, but the front seats can be equipped with electric drives, heating, ventilation and massage. New features include the ability to move the front right seat from the second row, a multimedia system with a 14.6-inch touch screen, 540-degree surround cameras and a virtual instrument panel (12.3 inches). Trunk volume varies from 791 to 1814 liters.

Production of the second generation Haval H9 SUV in China should begin in May. Prices have not yet been announced even for the local market. In Russia, the second generation H9 will appear before the end of the year and will probably be assembled at a plant in the Tula region.
