Jetour T-1 in Shanghai - first details

The Jetour brand has revealed details of the production version of the Jetour Shanghai T1 SUV. The car is made in the style of the Jetour T2, but it has its own design; the front lighting looks especially interesting.

The appearance of the car is truly impressive. Experienced Hakan Sarakoglu, who previously worked at Porsche and Ford, is responsible for its design.

The front of the T-1 is distinguished by the Jetour branding, square headlights, a massive bumper with fog lights and two towing rings. The car's profile is characterized by wide wheel arches with plastic trim, large exterior mirrors, side sills and impressive roof rails. The rear features large taillights, a hinged tailgate with a utility compartment and a large brake light. It is assumed that the LED strip connecting the headlights can show simple animation, such as flashing rhythmically.

The T-1's interior features an angular steering wheel, a 10.25-inch virtual instrument panel and a floating 15.6-inch center console screen. It is reported that the entire intelligent system of the car runs on the Qualcomm 8155 processor.

The dimensions of the T-1 with five seats for passengers are 4781 mm in length, 2006 mm in width and 1881 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2800 mm.

The model will be available in hybrid and fully gasoline versions based on the Kunpeng Power TGDI supercharged engine. The hybrid will have a 3-speed DHT gearbox, while the gasoline model will have a 7-speed robot or 8-speed automatic transmission.
