Chinese stars: new products at the Guangzhou 2024 exhibition

Cars with a range of up to 1500 km, luxurious interiors and technologies of tomorrow.

The 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show has turned into a real arena of technological breakthroughs, where Chinese manufacturers present impressive new products. The GIAE-Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (AUTO GUANGZHOU) runs from November 16 to 24, 2024. Electric cars, hybrids and next-generation concept cars filled the exhibition stands, demonstrating the highest level of engineering and ambition of the Chinese auto industry. The CHINA-MOTORS portal has selected the TOP 5 of the presented cars.

This electric hatchback, created on the SEA platform from Geely, became a real star of the exhibition. With dimensions of 4460x1845x1573 mm and a wheelbase of 2755 mm, it looks stylish and compact, while offering impressive performance.

The car is equipped with a 61.47 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which provides a range of up to 530 km. Thanks to 4.5S fast charging technology, the battery can be charged from 10 to 80% in just 15 minutes. The rear motor with a power of 250 kW accelerates the car to 190 km/h, and the torque reaches 373 Nm.

GAC Hyptec HL is a luxury crossover with premium solutions.

This large car, 5126 mm long and with a wheelbase of 3088 mm, offers a unique design with two-level optics and hidden LEDs in the front bumper. The interior of the crossover is impressive with a 2+2+2 configuration with second-row captain's chairs, which are equipped with massage functions, ventilation and a built-in refrigerator. The model is available both in an electric version with a range of up to 750 km, and in a hybrid version with an 800V high-voltage system, which allows you to charge 265 km in 5 minutes.

Chery Fulwin Hunting Wind - a concept of the future.

Chery presented the Hunting Wind concept car, which sets new standards for the Fulwin line. The car's dimensions (5053x2010x1560 mm) and aerodynamic coefficient of 0.210 Cd make it both stylish and efficient. The model is equipped with a solid-state battery that provides a range of up to 1,500 km and a new C-EM hybrid system.

BYD Denza N9 is an SUV for smart travel.

Denza N9, released under the BYD brand, stood out for its advanced control systems. The 5,258 mm long vehicle features Yisanfang technology with three motors, rear-wheel steering and air suspension. In the hybrid version, the model travels up to 165 km on electric power, and the total power reaches 152 kW.

Exlantix ET AWD - a hybrid with a power reserve of up to 1500 km.

Under the Exeed brand, the Exlantix ET hybrid crossover debuted at the exhibition, capable of accelerating to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. Snow Leopard's innovative all-wheel drive system and mixed-mode range of up to 1,500 km make it one of the most anticipated models on the Russian market, where sales will start in 2025.

Guangzhou 2024 is a prime example of how China is emerging as a leader in the global auto industry. The presented models showed that the future lies in electrification, hybrid technologies and new standards of comfort. Considering the pace of development, such cars will soon become a familiar part of our world and perhaps reach Russia.
