Sinomach Automobile is preparing its new SUV model, the Chinese Nissan Paladin, for debut in the Russian market.
This frame SUV is manufactured in China at a joint venture between auto giants Nissan and Dongfeng. Paladin impresses with its dimensions: its length reaches 4882 mm and wheelbase - 2850 mm. In the engine compartment of the SUV is a two-liter engine from Mitsubishi model 4K31, developing 228 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, which is synchronized with an eight-speed automatic transmission from ZF. Additional benefits of the SUV are the availability of all-wheel drive with the possibility of locking inter-axle and inter-wheel differentials. Among the options stands out a 12-inch vertically oriented screen multimedia system, a system to ensure all-round vision and other modern features.
The official premiere of the Nissan Paladin from Sinomach is scheduled for late November in Moscow. Sinomach is one of China's largest state-owned conglomerates, producing not only road-building and agricultural machinery, but also commercial vehicles, machine tool equipment and a wide range of industrial equipment.
