Bestune T90 is preparing to burst onto Russian roads with advanced technologies, high safety standards and thoughtful design.
The Chinese automaker FAW is preparing to launch the new Bestune T90 crossover on the Russian market, and details of its configuration have already been revealed. This car promises to be competitive in the mid-size crossover segment thanks to high-tech equipment and modern safety systems.
Inside the Bestune T90, buyers will find a number of advanced solutions aimed at creating a comfortable and safe driving experience. The central place is occupied by a 12.6-inch multimedia system screen and a 9.6-inch digital instrument panel, which transmits all the necessary information to the driver in an interactive and visual format.
Safety is one of FAW's priorities when developing the Bestune T90. The package includes six airbags, which provides comprehensive protection for the driver and passengers. The crossover is also equipped with a number of electronic assistants, such as hill descent assist and adaptive cruise control, which make driving easier in difficult road conditions.
The system for automatically switching between high and low beam deserves special attention. Built-in forward collision warning and traffic sign recognition add an extra layer of safety. To operate these systems, FAW uses millimeter wave radars and cameras, which provide accurate and timely recognition of surrounding objects.
The crossover is also equipped with anti-lock and traction control systems, rollover protection and directional stability control. In addition to this, Bestune T90 offers dynamic braking, hydraulic brake booster, four cameras that generate an image with a 540-degree view. And also in addition there is a “transparent chassis” system, which is especially useful when parking and driving on rough terrain.
Another technological innovation is automatic parking, which can completely take over the process of parking the car.
Bestune T90 is built on the upgraded FMA-A2 platform, which makes it stable, reliable and dynamic. In terms of its dimensions, it is close to the Nissan X-Trail, with a body length of 4718 mm and a wheelbase of 2772 mm.
The crossover in China is offered with two versions of turbocharged gasoline engines. The first is a 1.5-liter with 169 hp, which is paired with a robotic transmission. The second is a more powerful two-liter engine with 252 hp, combined with a Japanese-made Aisin eight-speed automatic transmission. Both modifications are equipped with front-wheel drive.
The details of the engine range for the Russian market have not yet been specified, but it is expected that the choice will be similar to the Chinese specifications.
