New crossover Changan UNI-Z

Changan Uni-Z is a new crossover from the Uni line coming soon to Russia. The new “Generation Z” symbolizes an innovative, technological future. The new product is equipped with the Changan Blue Whale Smart Electric iDD hybrid system with the ability to operate only on electric power.

The new Changan UNI-Z crossover is a harmonious combination of innovation, design and performance. This car is perfect for modern drivers who value style, comfort and safety.

The new car has a length of 4730 mm, a width of 1890 mm and a height of 1680 mm. The wheelbase is 2795 mm. The model is located in the model range between UNI-T and UNI-K.

The crossover is available in a hybrid version with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine, two electric motors and an 18.4 kWh battery. The total system power is 215 hp. and 330 Nm, driven by the front wheels. Depending on the driving mode, fuel consumption varies from 1.3 to 5.15 liters per 100 kilometers. The power reserve without the use of an internal combustion engine reaches 125 kilometers (according to CLTC). All three trim levels are equipped with a CVT.

Changan UNI-Z immediately attracts attention with its futuristic and aggressive design. The exterior of the car combines sharp lines and smooth surfaces, giving it a dynamic and modern look. Key exterior features include:

• Branded radiator grille. Wide and expressive, it gives the car a distinctive look and improves aerodynamics.
• LED headlights. Slim and stylish headlights complement the overall aggressive design, providing excellent visibility at night.
• Smooth body lines. The streamlined silhouette and carefully crafted aerodynamic elements reduce air resistance and improve fuel economy.
• Large alloy wheels. They emphasize the sporty character of the crossover and ensure stability on the road.

The interior of the car is decorated using leather trim and wooden inserts. The equipment includes a two-section panoramic roof, a media system with a 14.6-inch touch screen, a virtual voice assistant, all-round cameras and adaptive cruise control. Also included are wireless charging for a smartphone, two cup holders, a two-spoke steering wheel and air deflectors.

In total, there are currently three trim levels on the Chinese market with a price range from 117,900 to 131,900 yuan.
