New GAC S7 crossover for Russia: first photo

GAC Motor presented the first photos of the S7 crossover, which will arrive in Russia in the fall of 2025 at a price of 2.3 million rubles. The model will receive a 2.0-liter turbo engine (185 hp), an automatic transmission, reinforced suspension and a pre-heater.

The Chinese automaker GAC Motor is preparing to enter the Russian market with a new model - the S7 mid-size crossover, and the first official photos of the car, intended specifically for Russian buyers, have appeared on the Internet.

The appearance of the GAC S7 is designed in a modern but restrained style: smooth body lines, narrow LED headlights, a massive radiator grille with chrome inserts and 19-inch wheels give the car a solid and technological look. Dimensions - 4,650 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2,750 mm - provide a spacious interior with quality trim, leather seats, a digital instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central multimedia screen.

Under the hood, according to preliminary data, a 2.0-liter turbo engine with a power of 185 hp will be installed, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. For the Russian version, they promise a reinforced suspension, a pre-heater and improved sound insulation - adaptation to local climatic and road conditions.

Particular attention is paid to safety: even in the basic configuration, the S7 will receive six airbags, ESP, an automatic braking system, road sign recognition and blind spot monitoring.

Delivery of GAC S7 to Russia is expected in the fall of 2026, and the starting price, according to preliminary estimates, will be from 2.3 million rubles. This positions the model in competition with such popular crossovers as Haval Jolion, Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Geely Coolray.

Thus, the GAC S7 is not just another “Chinese”, but a conscious attempt to occupy the niche of a reliable, comfortable and technologically advanced SUV at an affordable price. And the first photo already hints: the brand takes the task seriously.
