New Tank 700 for Russia: powerful hybrid with air suspension and premium equipment

The flagship Tank 700, created on the basis of a powerful V6 engine and advanced technologies, is ready to conquer Russian roads and off-roads.

Great Wall has officially introduced its new flagship SUV Tank 700, which will be available to Russian buyers at the end of the year.

Tank 700 is created on the Hi4-T platform, which has already proven itself on other models of the brand. The SUV is equipped with a hybrid powertrain that includes a 3.0-liter V6 gasoline engine and an electric motor. The total power is an impressive 517 hp, which allows the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds. The Tank 700 is also capable of traveling up to 95 kilometers on electric power, which makes it not only productive, but also economical in city traffic.

The dimensions of the new Tank 700 are also impressive: the length exceeds 5 meters, and the wheelbase is 3000 mm. In combination with adaptive air suspension, which allows you to adjust the ground clearance depending on road conditions, the car becomes ideal for overcoming even the most difficult routes. The Tank 700 is capable of overcoming water obstacles up to 900 mm deep, which puts it on par with the best SUVs in the world.

The Tank 700 interior is made using premium materials such as Nappa leather, and the seats are equipped with massage, ventilation and heating functions. Particular attention is paid to detail: a starry sky ceiling and a high-quality 16-speaker audio system create an atmosphere of luxury and comfort. The SUV is equipped with modern safety and driver assistance systems, including adaptive cruise control and a surround view system.

Especially for the Russian market, the Tank 700 has been adapted to harsh climatic conditions. The car received improved anti-corrosion protection, an enlarged windshield washer reservoir with a volume of 4.5 liters and a full package of winter options, including heated seats, mirrors and windshield.

Sales of the new Tank 700 will begin in the fourth quarter of this year. It is expected that the car will be available in several trim levels, and its cost will exceed the price of its predecessor, the Tank 500, which currently costs from 6.5 million rubles.
