New participant in the car market: Jetour X70 in Russia

Jetour X70 is a crossover adapted to Russian conditions. Space, technology and style for 2.65 million rubles.

Sales of the new mid-size crossover Jetour X70 have started on the Russian automobile market. The car was presented in a single Luxury configuration, equipped with a one and a half liter turbo engine producing 147 hp. and a robotic dual-clutch transmission. The price of the new item is 2,649,000 rubles.

Jetour X70 occupies a place in the brand’s model line just below the already well-known X70 Plus. With comparable dimensions to the more expensive model, the new product has a simpler design and an affordable price. The car is designed for family travel and is designed for seven people.

The crossover is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine that develops 147 hp. and 210 Nm of torque at 2100 rpm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 13 seconds, and the top speed is 180 km/h. Average fuel consumption is stated at 7.8 liters per 100 km in the combined cycle. Front-wheel drive and ground clearance of 215 mm make the car suitable for Russian roads.

The Jetour X70 offers a spacious interior: 960 mm of legroom for rear passengers and 1022 mm from the seat cushions to the roof. The luggage compartment in a five-seat configuration holds 434 liters, and with the rear seats folded down the volume increases to 1680 liters. The interior upholstery is made of artificial leather, and the driver's seat is electrically adjustable.

The standard equipment of the crossover includes:

- 10.25-inch multimedia system display with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto;
- All-round cameras;
- Audio system with eight speakers;
- Active and passive safety systems: ABS, ESP, six airbags, tire pressure sensors;
- Panoramic roof;
- Full power accessories and air conditioning.

For operation in the harsh climatic conditions of Russia, the Jetour X70 received galvanized body panels and an increased volume of the windshield washer reservoir. Also included in the package is a winter package with heating for all seats, steering wheel, side mirrors, windshield and rear window.

The crossover has a modern and sleek appearance with full LED optics and 18-inch alloy wheels. The car is available in three colors: silver, black and white, with a black interior.

Jetour X70 is an interesting offer on the Russian crossover market due to its combination of affordable price, spacious interior and modern equipment. The model is ideal for family trips and use in difficult road conditions. Considering the already well-known success of the X70 Plus, the new product has a good chance of gaining a foothold in this segment.
