The price has been announced for the new Changan Uni-V, which has changed generations in Russia and has become more powerful

The new second-generation Changan Uni-V was valued at 3.49 million rubles: 235 hp, Aisin automatic transmission and improved dynamics.

New generation and price

The Changan company has officially announced the cost of the updated Uni-V liftback on the Russian market. The model, which the manufacturer positions as the second generation, is offered in the only “Sport” configuration at a price of 3,499,000 rubles without discounts.

Compared to the pre-reform version, available from 2,989,900 rubles, the new product has become noticeably more expensive, but has received serious technical and equipment improvements.

Power and dynamics

The main change was the transition to a new power unit. Under the hood is a 2.0-liter Blue Core turbo engine with 235 hp, paired with an eight-speed Aisin automatic transmission.

The dynamics have improved noticeably: acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds - 0.8 seconds faster than the previous version. The maximum speed reaches 215 km/h.

Design and aerodynamics

Externally, Uni-V has become more aggressive and modern. The liftback received a new front end with a blank panel instead of the traditional radiator grille, enlarged air intakes and updated optics.

Characteristic features include semi-hidden door handles, an active rear spoiler and an adjustable damper that changes the exhaust sound.

The model has increased slightly in length, maintaining the same wheelbase of 2750 mm. Aerodynamics have been significantly improved: the drag coefficient has been reduced from 0.34 to 0.27.

Interior and equipment

The interior is designed in a sporty style with black trim and seats with developed lateral support and integrated headrests.

The car is equipped with two screens: a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.6-inch central display. The equipment includes a 10-speaker audio system and six airbags.

Heating of all seats, steering wheel, mirrors and rear window is also provided, which makes the model adapted to Russian conditions.

Technology and security

Uni-V received a wide range of electronic assistants. It includes adaptive cruise control, lane keeping and traffic jam systems, 360-degree cameras and blind spot monitoring.

Automatic braking and reversing assistance systems are also available. The multimedia system supports Yandex services, and a number of functions can be controlled via a mobile application.

Prospects of the model

Changan is actively developing its presence in Russia and plans to localize the production of new models, including Uni-V, at Avtotor’s facilities. As part of the strategy, the company intends to launch up to eight new and updated cars.

The updated Uni-V becomes one of the brand's key offerings in the sports liftback segment, combining high power, modern design and a wide range of technologies.
