The Jetour T1 crossover expected in Russia will become a hybrid

The new Jetour Shanhai T1 crossover, first presented at the Beijing Motor Show this spring, is preparing to enter the Chinese market and will soon appear in Russia.

Next year the Russian market will be replenished with a new hybrid crossover Jetour T1, which has already attracted attention at the Beijing Motor Show this spring. This car impresses with its economical consumption - only 1.08 liters per 100 kilometers, which makes it attractive for those who want to reduce fuel costs. In China, sales will begin in the fourth quarter of 2024, and in Russia the new product will appear in 2025.

Jetour T1 will be presented with three powertrain options. Among them are the super hybrid C-DM, as well as versions with turbocharged engines of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. The first unit will be combined with a 7-speed robotic transmission, and the second - with an 8-speed automatic transmission. This variety of power units will allow customers to choose the best option depending on their needs and preferences.

The dimensions of the Jetour T1 are 4706 mm in length, 1967 mm in width and 1845 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2810 mm. It is somewhat shorter than the T2 crossover already presented in Russia, which makes it more convenient for urban conditions. The crossover wheels are equipped with 235/60 R19 tires, and the approach and departure angles are 27 and 25 degrees, respectively. The curb weight of the car with a panoramic sunroof reaches 2000 kg, and with a regular roof - 1963 kg. At the same time, the crossover is capable of towing a trailer weighing up to 1600 kg.

The power plant based on a 1.5-liter 156-horsepower turbo engine, known from models of the Chery Fulwin sub-brand, promises excellent dynamic performance. Although the power of the electric motors and battery capacity have not yet been disclosed, the crossover is expected to be competitive in its class. The maximum speed of Jetour T1 reaches 180 km/h, which indicates its good dynamics.

Thus, Jetour T1 promises to be an interesting offer on the Russian market due to its hybrid technologies, efficiency and impressive characteristics.
