Chery Jetour Shanhai L9 huge SUV has been revealed

After the unveiling of the new Tiggo 9, we thought it was the biggest crossover from Chery, however we have been surprised again. The Chery Jetour Shanhai L9 is scheduled for release.

A series of new Chery Jetour hybrids will be released under the Shanhai name. The car is expected to be officially unveiled in the 4th quarter of this year.

The Jetour brand is currently represented by models of cars with internal combustion engines: Jetour X70, X90, Dasheng and Traveler. However, with the increasing popularity of electric-powered cars, Jetour is changing its strategy and is preparing to introduce a new Shanhai lineup.

The Chery Jetour Shanhai L9 is positioned as a mid-size SUV with a plug-in hybrid system. The dimensions are 4862 × 1925 × 1784 mm, with a wheelbase of 2850 mm. At the front, a grille is installed, in excellent style. Below it is a chrome strip. The front is also equipped with millimeter-wave radar, cameras and standard radar. The Car will have advanced safety features while driving.

The Shanhai L9 will be available in three configurations: 5, 6 and 7 seats. As for the drivetrain, the car will have a hybrid system from Chery Kunpeng DHT, consisting of a 1, 5 liter engine with a capacity of 156 hp, an electric motor and a lithium battery. Consumption: 1, 49 liters per 100 km.
