TenetT8: honest review from the owner - space, reliability and its own features

Real TenetT8 experience without marketing templates. A spacious interior, a stable engine and good handling - but there are nuances that you should know about in advance.

We continue our column with live reviews of cars - without fluff and marketing embellishments, only the honest experience of real owners. Today the focus is on Tenet T8. Let's listen to what a man who has already managed to drive on the highways and run errands says.

What makes you happy (and makes you smile while driving):

- The space is like in a studio apartment. The interior is so spacious that you can have a mini-picnic in the back seat (we’re joking, of course, but there’s really a lot of space). A trunk is just a dream for those who always carry “everything in the world” with them: from bags to sports equipment.
- The engine is a hard worker without whims. The traction is smooth, without jerking, and when overtaking the car behaves confidently. The owner notes: “Not a racing car, but not a turtle either - the golden mean.”
- Price vs quality. For your money, the car gives more than you expect: the equipment is decent, and the assembly is without obvious jambs. As they say, “it’s not a shame to show it to your friends.”
- Handling - like on rails. The steering wheel is light, but not “wobbly”, turns are clear, without skidding. It’s convenient to maneuver in the city - you don’t have to turn the steering wheel until your shoulders crunch.

And now about the nuances (so that there is no “they didn’t warn us!”):

- Noise insulation is a C. At speed, road noise creeps into the cabin, as if it’s trying to talk to you. Lovers of absolute silence will have to put up with it or think about additional processing.
- The suspension is stiffer than we would like. Small irregularities are felt by the whole body, and on serious holes it is better to slow down. If you are a fan of softness, like in a luxury sedan, you will have to be patient.
- Multimedia - with character. The screen is responsive, but the menu is confusing in places. To find the right function, sometimes you have to “dance with a tambourine.” But the navigation works without failures - it won’t lead you into a deep forest.
- Fuel consumption is not for ascetics. In city mode, the tank empties faster than we would like. If you plan to drive a lot in traffic jams, fill up more often - or prepare your wallet.

Total: Tenet T8 is a workhorse with ambitions. It doesn’t shine with luxury, but it won’t let you down in everyday life either. An excellent option for those who need a roomy, reliable car without overpaying for the brand.
