A simplified Tiggo 4 called Kaiyi X3 is already in Russia

Kaiyi X3 crossover, presented in Russia at the MIMS exhibition in August, is now available for purchase through the Kaliningrad-based company Avtotor

This car is the second representative of the Kaiyi brand on the Russian market. The similarity of the X3 with the Chery Tiggo 4 is noticeable, as the base and chassis of these cars are almost identical. The main differences lie in the design of the body and interior.

The Kaiyi X3 is 82 mm longer than the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, but slightly lower by 9 mm. The car has a 1, 5 liter engine with 113 hp and is offered with two transmission options: manual or variator.

Inside the car inexpensive materials prevail, but the driver and passengers will find two screens - one for instruments, and the second - for the media system.

Kaiyi X3 is offered in two configurations: Comfort and Luxury. The basic configuration comes with two airbags, air conditioning, keyless entry system and many other options. The Luxury version offers additional amenities including leather seat upholstery and LED headlamps.

Prices for the Kaiyi X3 start at 2 million 118 thousand rubles and go up to 2 million 283 thousand rubles. Compared to the Chery Tiggo 4 Pro, the same car of Kaliningrad assembly will cost 120-200 thousand rubles cheaper.

In China, this crossover is much cheaper - its cost starts from 58900 yuan, which is approximately equal to 780 thousand rubles at the current exchange rate.

Soon for Russian buyers will be available an extended version of Kaiyi X3 Pro, with a turbo engine and luxurious interior.
