China has announced prices for the Rox Adamas crossover, which they want to assemble in Russia

In China, the price for the Rox Adamas crossover has been announced - from 129,800 yuan (~1.55 million rubles). A model with a 1.5 liter turbo engine (181 hp), a digital interior and rich equipment is being considered for local assembly in Russia in 2026.

The Chinese auto industry continues to expand its presence in the Russian market - now through the new Rox brand, under which the stylish and technological Adamas crossover debuted. Prices for the model have been officially announced in China: the starting version is priced at 129,800 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 1.55 million rubles at the current exchange rate. This figure is of particular interest, since Rox Adamas is considered as a candidate for local assembly in Russia as early as 2026.

Adamas is positioned as a compact SUV with an emphasis on design and digital technology. Its appearance is distinguished by aggressive front optics with LED strips, hidden door handles, a panoramic roof and 19-inch wheels. Dimensions - 4,570 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2,730 mm - provide a spacious interior with quality trim, leather seats, a digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central screen.

Under the hood is a 1.5-liter turbo engine producing 181 hp, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and front-wheel drive. Claimed fuel consumption is 6.8 l/100 km in the combined cycle. A hybrid version with a total output of 220 hp is also available, but it is the gasoline modification that will most likely form the basis for the Russian assembly.

Particular attention is paid to safety: even in the basic version, the Rox Adamas is equipped with six airbags, ESP, an automatic braking system, road sign recognition and blind spot monitoring.

If the localization project is implemented, the Russian version may appear at a price of 1.9 million rubles - taking into account adaptation, logistics and duties. At the same time, the brand plans to offer a competitive price-equipment ratio, especially compared to its peers in the segment.

Thus, Rox Adamas is not just another “Chinese”, but an attempt to enter the market with a new name, fresh design and a clear value proposition. And if assembly takes place in Russia, it could become one of the most affordable crossovers with premium features in its class.
