Sales of the updated compact frame SUV Haval H3, one of the most affordable models with a classic design, have officially started on the Russian market. The new product replaces the previous generation, offering a more modern design, an improved level of comfort and adaptation to Russian road conditions, while maintaining the key advantage - low price and real cross-country ability.

Design and dimensions

The appearance of the H3 has become noticeably fresher: the car received a new radiator grille in Haval’s signature style, narrow LED headlights, an updated front bumper with larger air intakes and 17-inch wheels. The dimensions remain compact - 4,250 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2,550 mm, which makes the car maneuverable in the city and comfortable on narrow forest roads. Ground clearance is 205 mm, and approach and departure angles are 36° and 32°, respectively.

Technical updates

Under the hood, the proven 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 143 hp is still installed. and a torque of 200 Nm, but now it is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission (previously only a manual option was offered). This significantly expands the circle of potential buyers, especially in an urban environment.

The H3 retains the ladder frame, rear-wheel drive (with the option of all-wheel drive) and low-range gearing - a rarity in its class. For the Russian market, the rear suspension springs have been strengthened, a preheater has been added, and sound insulation has been improved.

Interior and equipment

The interior has become more modern: a new center console, a digital instrument panel, a 10.1-inch multimedia screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control and heated front seats. The basic package includes six airbags, ESP, hill start assist and a rear view camera.

Prices start from 1.95 million rubles, making the H3 one of the most affordable new frame SUVs in the country.
