Sales of frame SUV Haval H5 began in Russia

Haval H5 debuted on the Russian market with prices starting from 3,499,000 rubles. The model is available in two trim levels and offers a choice between petrol and diesel engines.

A new frame SUV Haval H5 has entered the Russian market, which offers a combination of power, cross-country ability and comfort, which makes it one of the most interesting new products of this year. The official start of sales took place in September 2024, and the model is available at a price starting from 3,499,000 rubles, which opens the segment of large SUVs to a wide audience.
Haval H5 is a frame SUV with dimensions close to such well-known models as the Nissan Patrol and Toyota Land Cruiser 300. Its length is 5190 mm, width - 1905 mm, and height - 1835 mm. The wheelbase of the SUV is 3140 mm, and the ground clearance is 200 mm.
The car is presented with two engine options:
- Petrol 2.0-liter turbocharged engine developing 200 hp. and 380 Nm of torque.
- Diesel engine of the same volume, 150 hp. and 400 Nm of torque.
Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive is available as standard.
Haval H5 has a modern design that combines brutal elements and high-tech solutions. The front end shares similarities with the Great Wall KingKong Poer pickup, including the same frame structure and shared suspension components. Inside, the driver and passengers are treated to a digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch multimedia system screen, under which there are physical buttons for ease of control. The model is also equipped with all-round cameras, and the driver's seat is adjustable in six directions.
Depending on the configuration, different levels of comfort and safety are available:
- The Elite package includes LED optics, leather seat trim, parking sensors, climate control, heated windshield and steering wheel.
- The Premium trim adds a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, six airbags and advanced driver assistance systems, including blind spot monitoring and lane change assist.
Haval H5 is equipped with a Part-Time all-wheel drive system, which allows you to rigidly connect the front axle for driving in difficult conditions. The car also received a self-locking rear differential, which increases its off-road capability. These solutions make the Haval H5 competitive among other frame SUVs.
The new Haval H5 is available on the Russian market in two trim levels: Elite and Premium, in which you can choose between a gasoline and diesel engine. The cost of the gasoline version starts from 3,499,000 rubles, and the diesel version starts from 3,799,000 rubles.
