A new car brand Tenet Plus has appeared in Russia: photos of its first crossover

The new Tenet Plus brand debuted in Russia with a compact crossover based on a Chinese platform. The model received a 1.5-liter turbo engine (156 hp), a CVT, a ground clearance of 195 mm, a digital interior and adaptation to Russian conditions.

A new car brand has debuted on the Russian car market - Tenet Plus, under which sales of a Chinese crossover designed specifically for the local market will soon begin. The first official photographs of the model have already appeared in dealer networks and have aroused keen interest due to its modern design and declared level of equipment.

The first crossover Tenet Plus is a compact SUV with dimensions of about 4,520 mm in length and a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The exterior is designed in a minimalist but expressive style: narrow LED headlights, a panoramic roof, hidden door handles and 18-inch wheels give the car a technological and slightly futuristic look. At the same time, the ground clearance is 195 mm, which makes the model suitable for use on Russian roads.

Under the hood is a proven 1.5-liter turbo engine with 156 hp, paired with a CVT and front-wheel drive. Claimed fuel consumption is 6.8 l/100 km in the combined cycle. The Russian version is equipped with a reinforced suspension, a pre-heater, a side window blower system and improved sound insulation.

In the cabin there is a digital dashboard, a 14.6-inch central screen with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, heated leather seats and a full set of safety systems: ESP, six airbags, automatic braking, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping.

Although it is not officially disclosed which Chinese manufacturer the car comes from, experts point to the similarity of the platform and power plant with Chery and Geely models, which indicates a high level of reliability and availability of spare parts.

The starting price will be from 2.2 million rubles, and deliveries to dealer centers will begin in the third quarter of 2025.

Thus, Tenet Plus is another example of how Chinese cars are entering the Russian market under new names, offering familiar quality, modern technology and adaptation to local conditions. And if the brand’s first steps are successful, it could occupy a noticeable niche in the competitive compact crossover segment.
