Nordcross is preparing to release in Russia a full-size hybrid crossover based on the Lynk&Co 900, more than 5 meters long.
The Nordcross brand is preparing to expand its model line on the Russian market with a full-size crossover, which will become a local version of the Lynk&Co 900. The new product is already undergoing the certification procedure - vehicle type approval (VTA) is being issued, which indicates the imminent launch of sales.
Delivery of the vehicle will be organized from the Chinese Heilongjiang North Special Purpose Vehicle plant.
The new crossover will become part of the export strategy of Chinese manufacturers, focused on the Russian market. In June 2026, representatives of the Chinese authorities visited the Nordcross plant, where promising models for export were demonstrated.
Among them is a large crossover based on the Lynk&Co 900 and a liftback created on the Lotus Emeya platform. This underlines the brand's commitment to offering more technologically advanced and larger cars.
The future Nordcross will be one of the largest crossovers in its segment. Its length exceeds 5.2 meters, which puts the model in the class of full-size SUVs.
These dimensions provide a spacious interior and a high level of comfort, aimed at family trips and long-distance travel.
The crossover will be equipped with hybrid power plants similar to those used in the Lynk&Co 900. Buyers will be offered versions with 1.5 or 2.0 liter gasoline engines.
Electrical part may include:
- two electric motors (one on each axis);
- or three electric motors (one in front and two in rear).
The capacity of traction batteries varies from 44.8 to 52.4 kWh, which provides an electric range of 185 to 220 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.
At the moment, only one car of the brand is presented in Russia - the Nordcross 001 crossover, which is an analogue of the Lynk&Co 09. Its cost exceeds 7 million rubles.
The appearance of a larger and more modern model will allow the brand to strengthen its position in the premium crossover segment and offer customers an alternative to other Chinese and international models.
The release of the new Nordcross hybrid crossover reflects the growing interest in large electrified SUVs in Russia. The combination of impressive size, hybrid technology and modern equipment makes such cars in demand among buyers focused on comfort and versatility.
The new model could be an important step for the brand in developing the line and strengthening its presence in the Russian market, especially in the segment of large family and executive crossovers.
