Sales of the compact crossover Dongfeng 500 have started in Russia

Sales of the DFSK 500, a compact crossover with rich equipment and an attractive price starting from 1.75 million rubles, have started in Russia.

A new representative of the B-SUV segment has entered the Russian market - the compact crossover DFSK 500 from the Chinese automaker Dongfeng. This model is designed to compete with popular market players, offering the optimal combination of affordable price and modern equipment.

DFSK 500 is a front-wheel drive crossover with a length of 4385 mm, width 1850 mm and height 1645 mm. It is equipped with a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine producing 106 horsepower, which is paired with a CVT. This power unit was not chosen by chance - it provides the car with decent dynamics with moderate fuel consumption, which is 6.9 liters per 100 km.

The crossover suspension includes independent McPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam at the rear. Ground clearance of 191 mm also indicates good maneuverability and confidence on the roads.

DFSK 500 is presented in Russia in the only Premium configuration. Despite this, the car is equipped with all the necessary functions for comfortable driving. The interior uses high-quality eco-leather with contrasting red stitching, and a multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen provides the necessary functions for entertainment and navigation.

The car is also equipped with a rear view camera, a cruise control system and a “winter” package, which includes heated front seats, steering wheel and side mirrors. These options make the DFSK 500 an attractive offer for those looking for an inexpensive yet functional crossover.

At the start of sales, the DFSK 500 is offered at a price of 1,749,000 rubles, taking into account all discounts, which makes it one of the most affordable crossovers in its segment. For comparison, models from competitors with similar characteristics are much more expensive.
