The cost of the updated Haval M6 in Russia has been announced

The updated Haval M6 entered the Russian market at the same starting price of 2,049,000 rubles for the manual version and from 2,349,000 rubles for the crossover with a robot, having received richer equipment, a larger screen and retained technical components.

Prices: same entry, more expensive than “robot”

In the coming months, sales of the modernized Haval M6 crossover with updated design and equipment will start in Russia. For the version with six-speed manual transmission you will be asked from 2,049,000 rubles, and for the modification with seven-speed “robot” (7DCT) - from 2,349,000 rubles.

The starting price for the version with a manual transmission remained at the level of the current M6, while the equipment with a robotic gearbox increased in price by 50,000 rubles, which reflects both the increase in cost and the added equipment. Thus, Haval leaves the M6 as one of the most affordable Chinese crossovers in its class, but clearly differentiates the price of versions with different types of transmissions.

Equipment updates: more digital and comfort

With restyling, the Haval M6 received a number of options that are important for everyday use “from the factory”. The list of basic or available equipment includes a rear view camera with dynamic markings, a heated steering wheel, a glasses compartment in the overhead console and front side airbags, which complement the existing front ones.

A major change affected the multimedia system: the diagonal of the central screen was increased from 10.25 to 12.3 inches, resolution was improved, and the interface was adapted to the new “tiled” graphics. Externally, the restyling can be recognized by the new radiator grille, made in black gloss - this is actually the only noticeable external difference from the pre-reform crossover.

Technology unchanged: familiar motor and drive

In terms of technology, the updated Haval M6 remains faithful to the previous scheme: the crossover is still equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with a power of 143 hp, working with either a 6-speed “mechanics”or with a 7-speed “robot” two clutches. Drive - front-wheel drive only, all-wheel drive versions are not announced for the Russian market.

This set of units is well known to service providers and owners: it is with this that the M6 has been present in Russia for several years and has managed to establish itself as a simple and easy-to-maintain offer among Chinese passenger crossovers in the entry- and mid-price segment. For many buyers, not only is a fresh screen important, but also predictable operating costs.

Production, telematics and timing of availability at dealers

Unlike other models of the brand, the updated Haval M6 for Russia is produced not at the Tula plant, but at the facilities of Automotive Technologies LLC in the Kaluga Region (former PSMA Rus plant), and on a full cycle with welding and painting of the body. This approach increases the degree of localization and helps to contain the price against the backdrop of a general increase in costs.

The updated crossover will appear at dealers in the second quarter of 2026, that is, in the period from April to June. At the same time, already at the beginning of 2026, the Russian Haval M6 received proprietary Great Wall telematics: through a mobile application you can remotely control a number of car functions, and the free period of using services, depending on the option, ranges from 3 months to 3 years. For buyers, this is an additional argument in favor of the fact that even a relatively affordable Chinese crossover offers a level of “connectivity” comparable to more expensive models.
