Battle of the leaders: LiXiang L6 and VOYAH FREE - what to choose?

The Chinese automobile market is developing rapidly, offering consumers more and more diverse and technologically advanced options. And today the focus is on two premium models: LiXiang L6 and VOYAH FREE. These cars represent different approaches to design, technology and comfort, but both are admirable. In this review we will talk about each model and present the opinion of the company's experts style="color:#1155cc">E.N.Carswho conducted a detailed test drive of both cars.

VOYAH FREE, developed with the participation of the Italian bureau Italdesign, is distinguished by its sporty character and more precise handling. Thanks to the air suspension, VOYAH can change the ground clearance in the range from 12.8 to 28 cm, which makes it more versatile when driving on different roads.

VOYAH FREE has a 1.5-liter engine and a power of 490 hp. Its automatic transmission and all-wheel drive provide dynamic and confident handling, and acceleration to 100 km/h takes just 4.5 seconds. With minimal fuel consumption of just 0.6 liters per 100 km and an electric range of 259 km, VOYAH FREE stands out as the most economical in its class. Its dimensions are impressive: the length of the car is 4905 mm, width - 1950 mm, height - 1645 mm, while the wheelbase reaches 2960 mm.

LiXiang L6 is a bright representative of modern Chinese engineering. The car is dominated by practicality and brevity; its interior is strikingly technologically advanced. The L6 is equipped with a suspension with adaptive dampers, which makes it comfortable at any speed.

LiXiang L6 is equipped with a hybrid power plant with a total power of 408 hp, automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 5.4 seconds. Fuel consumption is 0.72 liters per 100 km, and the electric range reaches 182 km. In terms of dimensions, LiXiang L6 is slightly larger than VOYAH FREE: its length is 4925 mm, width is 1960 mm, and height is 1735 mm. The wheelbase is slightly shorter - 2920 mm.

E.N.Cars specialists conducted a detailed test drive of both cars and shared their impressions.

“We are used to seeing Chinese cars as composite images of famous European brands. However, LiXiang L6 and VOYAH FREE are truly unique developments, each with its own character,” experts say.

During the test, experts analyzed the exterior, interior and technical characteristics of the cars. Both models are hybrids with a gasoline engine acting as a generator. However, the differences lie in handling and comfort.

LiXiang L6 stood out for its minimalism in the interior, reminiscent of the style of Tesla or Apple.

VOYAH FREE, on the contrary, was liked for its sportier character and precise handling, comparable to BMW.

Based on the test drive, E.N.Cars specialists identified the key advantages and disadvantages of each model:

LiXiang L6

- Pros: technologically advanced and comfortable interior, adaptive shock absorbers, ease of maintenance.

- Cons: lack of air suspension, lower ground clearance.

VOYAH FREE

- Pros: air suspension with variable ground clearance, sporty handling, higher level of dynamics.

- Cons: less comfortable interior compared to L6, more difficult suspension maintenance.

Both models impress with their characteristics and the choice between them depends on the driver’s preferences. LiXiang L6 is suitable for those who value comfort and practicality, while VOYAH FREE is an excellent choice for lovers of dynamics and versatility.
