"Avtodom" launches Zeekr electric cars from China

Zeekr premium electric cars from China will appear on the Russian auto market in October, according to Autodom.

Buyers will be able to choose from three models: Zeekr X, Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009. Prices start from 6 million rubles. Zeekr X is offered with rear or all-wheel drive, developing 272 or 428 hp and providing autonomy of 560 km. Zeekr 001 is available in three modifications, including with four motors. Zeekr 009 is an all-wheel drive minivan that accelerates to 100 km/h in just 4, 5 seconds.
The Zeekr brand is owned by Jili. According to analysts, in the first half of 2023, three Chinese car brands: Chery, Geely, Great Wall, took a third of the Russian market for new cars. Geely sales increased 4 times, reaching 32,681 cars.
Sergey Lukonin from IMEMO RAS in a conversation with Vedomosti emphasized the importance of the Russian market for China, pointing out that this is the first breakthrough of Chinese automakers outside their country. In his opinion, Chinese cars are already at the level of European brands.
