Chery has clarified the characteristics of the large crossover iCar V27, which is expected in Russia

Chery has revealed the characteristics of the large iCar V27 electric crossover, which will arrive in Russia in 2026. The model on the E0X platform will offer up to 503 hp, a range of up to 610 km, 800-volt charging and a premium interior with three screens.

The Chinese auto industry continues to surprise: under the iCar sub-brand, focused on electric vehicles and youth design, Chery has officially revealed key details of the new large crossover V27 - a model that is already arousing keen interest in the Russian market.

Built on the modular E0X platform, the iCar V27 is positioned as a technologically advanced electric SUV with premium ambitions. Its dimensions - 4,825 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width and a wheelbase of 2,920 mm - provide a spacious interior with three rows of seats (in the optional configuration) and a spacious trunk. But the main thing is the electric filling: the crossover will be available in two versions - with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The basic modification will receive one electric motor with a power of 230 kW (313 hp), the top version will have two motors with a total output of 370 kW (503 hp), accelerating the car to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.

The CLTC range will be up to 610 km, and thanks to the 800-volt architecture, the car will be able to replenish the charge from 10 to 80% in just 18 minutes at fast charging stations. This makes the V27 competitive not only with Chinese new products, but also with European electric crossovers.

The design of the iCar V27 is minimalist but expressive: narrow LED headlights, a panoramic roof, hidden door handles and digital mirrors (in top versions) create an aerodynamic and futuristic look. There are three screens in the cabin: a dashboard, a 15.6-inch central display and an additional screen for the passenger. Also announced are a premium audio system, climate control for three zones, wireless charging and advanced finishing materials, including recycled leather and Alcantara.

Particular attention is paid to the software platform: iCar V27 will receive its own OS with support for voice control in several languages (including Russian), OTA updates and integration with a smart home. The car will also be equipped with an L2+ level autopilot system, including adaptive cruise, automatic lane change, parking and traffic situation recognition.

In Russia, they plan to offer the crossover in 2026, probably at a price of 4.5 million rubles - at the lower end of the premium electric vehicle segment. Given the growing demand for large EVs and confidence in the Chery brand, the iCar V27 could become one of the most anticipated new products of next year.

Thus, Chery is not just entering the electric segment with the iCar V27 - it is challenging established players by offering a Chinese electric crossover that combines range, dynamics, technology and thoughtful design. And Russia, apparently, will become one of the key markets for its success.
